Google Offers Incentive Advertising for International Businesses

Google, which is one of the top providers of contextual advertising online, has announced that it is now offering Pay Per Action advertising to internationall businesses on its AdWords network.  In March, Google launched a beta test of the new advertisements, but only U.S. Companies were allowed to participate.

PPA advertisements allow businesses to pay only when visitors to their sites take specific actions.  These actions typically include making a purchase, signing up for email newsletters, or downloading a white paper.

Currently, the beta test is only open to international businesses with a high volume of business.  To determine this, Google uses their conversion tracking system.  The option to create PPA ads is automatically added to accounts of companies who had at least 500 conversions per month.  Companies are being added a few at a time.

PPA ads do not conflict with current Pay Per Click or Pay Per Impression ads.
